I am not only interested in imitation or likeness of the sitter but also the painting as a work of art.  I enjoy getting to know the person, understanding them and putting my observations into the painting.  Sittings range from a 3 hour sitting for a drawing while paintings tend to be from a combination of three 3-hour sittings and photographs.
